Changing Regal 2 Cartridges – Standard Or Regal 2 Cartomizers
I have had some enquiries and confusion about changing cartridges with the inLife Regal and Regal 2, so thought a short post to outline the differences and help out might be in order.
The main difference between the Standard (or old) Regal cartridges is that the unit as a whole was a 3 part device. It consisted of the battery, which has a threaded indented end, an atomizer and finally the cartridge.
The atomizer is metallic and screws into the battery. The standard old cartridge would then slip over the atomizer like a glove over your hand. To remove the cartridge you would gently twist the cartridge and pull, making sure you dont unscrew the atomizer along with the cartridge.
To replace the cartridge you would then remove the platic stopper end and simply slip back over the atomizer.
The standard packages would come with an atomizer in place with a ‘dummy’ cartridge wrapper. You would need to remove the atomizer by unscrewing it before charging the battery for it initial 9 hour charge.
The Regal 2 cartomizer is both cartridge and atomizer in one sealed unit.
It simply screws into the battery and when the smoke volume depletes ( or you feel a slight burnt taste in the smoke), you simply unscrew it and replace.
I hope that is all self explanatory but by all means e-mail neil.ebsworth@gmail.com if you need any further assistance.
Note: Rare as it is, the regal 2 may sometime have suffered a manufacturing error whereby it produces little or no smoke volume. The regal 2 is characterized by the large smoke volume it produces from the very first drag.
