MLM Multi Level Marketing Business Strategy – Don’t Think Big, Think Smart!

The thought of creating our own empire is a powerful emotion. I am sure that at some point during the process of  evaluating a MLM, Multi Level Marketing business opportunity everyone pauses to dream of the possibility of creating that big income stream that will pay off the mortgage, buy the new car and set up your retirement account so you are set for life.

And it can….

But as with most things, the people that make it in an MLM business have three things in common.

1. They work hard

2. They dont give up

3. They think smart.

I have seen many quotes applicable to the MLM experience. John Paul Getty said something along the lines that ” I would rather earn 1% from the efforts of 100 people than 100% of the efforts of 1″

I doubt whether he was talking about MLM but he might as well have been as it sums up the ‘smart thinking’ that you need to employ to become a successful MLM’er.

The nice part about MLM is that you can become successful by sharing the opportunity with people that you know.

Once you have fully evaluated the opportunity, the product, the marketplace, the competition and are 100% convinced that all the pegs fit into the right holes. All the questions have been answered and you are ready to begin, you are able to share your good fortune with those closest to you…you can’t get more personal than that and you have also successfully begun your path to success.

I am concentating this article on the 3rd point above….thinking smart.

If 1 & 2 are not a given, then you have already failed. Dont waste your money signing up to the business. You will not succeed. nothing in life comes without a work ethic and determination. It is rarely as easy as it seems and there will be setbacks on the way. So if you are a three week try’er. ” Oh I tried that but it didnt work” sort of person then this business is not for you.

I am aiming this piece at those that will give it their all and keep giving it their all when they get knocked back, once, twice, three times..

Often it is these people that will miss the success they deserve because they have failed at point 3. Sometimes the big picture can cloud the detail. When something so simple can make the difference between success and failure, it can often be overlooked.

So think big, dream big…but do it in your spare time (of which you wont have any if your working your business right!!), but most of all keep it simple and smart.

E-Mail – Check Your Spam Folder

It is an easy mistake to make…you are waiting for a reply having e-mailed a question or an enquiry. You wait a couple of days and receive nothing in return…You lose interest, the moment has passed and what could have been a great opportunity has gone…..

And all because you failed to check your e-mail spam folder!!!

Spam folders are great. They filter all that rubbish mail. But unfortunately they find it difficult sometimes to distinguish between the spam and the important stuff especially when it may be mail from a new source.

So to avoid the scenario above, please ensure that to check your spam folder on a regular basis for any important mail that may have been filtered out…

It may be the difference between that opportunity passing you by….or being able to take it squarely in two hands..

MLM Multi Level Marketing, The Plague & Other Fairytales

Network Marketing Isn’t the Black Plague

During opportunity presentations, when people hear the words “network marketing”, I see some frowns.  Network marketing over the years has received an undeserved negative connotation because of unscrupulous companies that have developed “pyramid schemes” to get rich quick at the expense of others.  Fortunately, those companies do not represent the true value of network marketing in business.  And, they do not represent the principles and corporate values of inLife.  That’s what we need to explain.
Network marketing is principally a successful means of advertising and distributing products.  It’s based on one simple principle…word of mouth recommendations and is used by many well known companies like Rexall, Sprint, Citicorp, Wells Fargo, and PrePaid Legal, just to name a few.  You may not know it, but roughly 35% of all goods and services will be moved in western nations this year will be moved via network marketing.   When Sprint offers you $25 off your next bill for introducing someone that purchases a Sprint phone or service, that’s network marketing.
Thirty network marketing companies are now traded publicly on NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange.  In order to go public, these companies had to establish standardized accounting procedures and be open to the SEC scrutiny and control.   Those companies have established and maintain high standards of business practices, which elevate the character of the entire network marketing community.
If you think about it, network marketing resembles franchising, in that it relies on a network of independent contractors.  Ray Kroc, founder of McDonalds understood this way back in 1955 when he took that company from 1 location in Des Plaines, Ill to the largest restaurant chain in only twenty years.
Before joining inLife, I studied their business practices and the culture of the company and was impressed by both.  Quite honestly, when used right, network marketing is indeed one of the greatest marketing and distribution opportunities in the history of capitalism.  As you’ve heard so many times before, it’s all about people helping people.
So, when raised eyebrows appear as I say we are a network marketing company, I smile and proudly explain the real value of network marketing as an alternative to traditional business professions.  With inLife, we are able to meet new people, develop new friendships, become wealthy without the pitfalls of working for a traditional company, and provide cigarette smokers a product that will improve their lives and financial futures.  I can sit on my patio and have coffee in the morning, and help my twins with their homework in the afternoons while others are confined to their little cubicles.  I’d call that a home run!

Always remember….”those that get it, will; and those that don’t, won’t.  And, there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Business Diary – UK MLM Search Is On

It has been a quiet couple of weeks with work on other projects taking up most of my time. Sales have been coming in via the websites but not being in the US has meant that we dont have any one on one contacts in the states.

The launch of Inlife into Europe has moved forward though and we are now just a step away from having everything in place.

Next week we are starting a search for a National Director based in the UK to run operations. We are putting some resources to work to source the successful applicant, but if you read this and you think you fit the bill…then drop me a e-mail and CV.

The successful applicant will have MLM experience at National level and a proven success record over serveral years. The compensation plan being offerred is exceptional….I will say that again……exceptional……
